Therapy Services
I offer individual counseling for adults ages 21+ dealing with a myriad of issues. All therapy offered requires an initial intake session. Intake sessions are 90 minutes, in-person at a rate of $175. My main areas of specialty include EMDR, Walk-and-Talk Therapy, Substance Abuse/Addiction, and Spiritual Integration. These approaches may help with PTSD, trauma/traumatic incidents, anxiety, grief, and anger issues.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of psychological trauma and pathogenic memories. This modality is effective for those struggling with life’s challenges, whether simple or complex. Traditionally, EMDR has been effective for resolving PTSD symptoms as well anxiety, phobia, sports performance, chronic pain, and more. We are all wired toward healing, and EMDR therapy can help facilitate the process. Visit EMDRIA to learn more!

EMDR therapy is available for small group processing as well as longer individual intensive sessions. Inquire for pricing and availability.
Substance Abuse and Addiction
Individual therapy focused on substance abuse explores addiction and its far-reaching effects. The aim of this counseling is to advocate for clients to find the right path to recovery. I do not espouse only one way to staying clean and sober, but instead work alongside my clients to address four key elements of recovery, including a physically and mentally healthy lifestyle, meaningful daily activities, a stable place to live and a supportive social network. If you believe you may have a substance dependence problem, I would love to help.

Walk-and-Talk Therapy
Many people find that having their therapy sessions in nature encourages presence, self-compassion, and intention. I invite you to combine two of the best tools for increasing wellness: walking outside and a therapy session using research-backed modalities. One of three locations will be offered in the San Antonio area, each location taking into account the balance between privacy and safety.* Walk and talk therapy sessions are similar to office visits in several ways: sessions involve processing challenges and concerns, discussing relationship worries, working through recovery, healing, and addressing goals. Just envision therapy without walls!
55-60 mins | $155
*Other locations may be utilized for walking sessions, however the distance may affect the price per session.
Spiritual Integration
Research shows that effective counseling considers mind, body and spirit, which includes spiritual or religious concerns. Because spiritual and religious values can play a major role in daily life, I believe spirituality is a potential resource in therapy, not something to be ignored. In individual therapy, EMDR, Walk-and-Talk therapy, and Substance Abuse treatments, I offer the integration of psychology and spirituality to help you gain insight into ways your core beliefs and values are reflected in your behavior. Addressing spiritual concerns and mindsets in counseling may unlock keys to healing and promote well-being. As of note, spiritual or religious language, beliefs or practices will not be assumed or forced on a client. These needs will be evaluated during the intake session and are available upon client request.

No Surprises Act and Good
Faith Estimates
Beginning in 2022, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals, both orally and in writing, of expected charges via a Good Faith Estimate. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the Good Faith Estimate will include expected charges, expected services, and an estimate of session frequency. Fees for service that may be requested by the client that are not generally part of regular treatment may land outside of a “Good Faith Estimate.” These fees will be outlined in the informed consent process of therapy and will be considered above and beyond a good faith estimate. Such fees may include services such as phone calls longer than 10 minutes relating to issues other than scheduling, request for records, couples or family sessions, court appearance, etc.
Clients have a right to access their Good Faith Estimate. The No Surprise Act requires health care providers to provide clients who do not have coverage, or who are not using their coverage to pay for services (ie., self pay), an estimate of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. This also includes the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
You can ask your provider (any and all of your providers) for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. It is your responsibility to save a copy or picture of your estimate.
If you receive a bill that is $400+ more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
